READ UK: 2023 Reports
BACKGROUND
READ Foundation is a non-profit educational network in North Pakistan, Bangladesh, Lebanon, Yemen and Turkey. READ built over 400 schools, with almost 6,000 teachers, it educated around 60,000 boys and 55,000 girls (serves more than 115,000 children in total) including more than 13,000 orphans at the moment, but over 23,000 on all times. The quantity of alumnus pupils surpasses 150,000 in our schools and around 7,000 got employment opportunities after their studies conclusion.
With almost 30 years of existence and a total financial movement of more than 8 million pounds in 2023, the NGO's objectives are to reduce education inequalities, to build schools on isolated/rural areas, as well in refugee camps and conflict areas with mobile classrooms, to empower female leadership and to sponsor orphans.
2 - DESIGN PHASE
The problem:
Redesign their core reports, create new country profiles and develop emergency response reports with a stronger brand, with an expanded color palette and impactful visual communications.
The goal:
To produce a series of reports with a consistent layout and a clear messaging.
My role:
Co-designed over 15 reports for READ Foundation which is based in the UK, with the collaboration of the designers: Nayeem Hussain and Fiqri Ramli, while working at the Process Plus Marketing, Canada.
3 - CHALLENGES
• Short timeframe;
• Redesign all core reports with consistency;
• High-quality publications to be shared online.
RESULTS
A consistent look & feel, playful but somber design with green and blue tones that are unique and impactful.
